Socks and gloves donation drive

RVUUF’s Religious Explorations youth will soon assemble boxes of warm winter socks and gloves for adults who seek refuge at Ashland’s Pioneer Hall homeless shelter. Artists’ reception after service this Sunday

A reception takes place after the service on Sunday, Oct. 29, for Dave Baker and Robert Block-Brown, who are currently displaying their work in the RVUUF gallery. Attendees are welcome to enjoy a piece of cake and visit with the artists about their work.

‘Circle Dinner’ hosts lined up through March

Eighty-seven guests and many hosts have signed up for RVUUF’s “Circle Dinners” so far. There were two Circle Dinners in September with two more set for October, according to an update in this week’s “News to Note.”

Disaster Relief Fund accepting donations

The Unitarian Universalist Association invites contributions to its “Disaster Relief Fund” (formerly the Hurricane Irma Recovery Fund). Contributions to this fund will assist the UUA to provide assistance to UU congregations affected by natural disasters, including recent fires in California.
