The Unitarian Universalist Association has declared that transgender youth are “loved and welcome here.”
We grew up in Methodist households and John’s father was a minister. Not only was the Church our religious underpinning, it was also the community where we made our friends and found our mates. However, by the time we immigrated to the U.S. in 1967 we were on our way to becoming skeptics.
We are in a period of change and great potential. I, as an Agnostic Unitarian Universalist, want to share a Biblical quote with you. Good prose is good prose.

In a 5-4 ruling today, the U.S. Supreme Court established federal recognition of marriage between same-sex partners. Rev. Peter Morales, president of the Unitarian Universalist Association, issued a statement applauding the decision.
