Third Sunday recipient: Family Nurturing Center

On Sunday, Jan. 20, RVUUF’s third-Sunday recipient will be the Family Nurturing Center. Lisa O’Connor, the executive director, will speak about the work this organization does. The Family Nurturing Center is a relief nursery for the Rogue Valley (Jackson County and Josephine County). Its purpose is to prevent child abuse and neglect. Jordan Cove Energy Project, letter-signing and rally to oppose

The Interfaith Social Justice Coalition and Rogue Climate are opposing the “Jordan Cove Energy Project,” which would build a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal in Coos County, and a natural gas pipeline through Coos, Jackson, Klamath, and Douglas counties.
