RVUUF celebrates its 64th birthday this Sunday, April 8, and offers a toast to another “at least 64 more years” of serving as a beacon of liberal faith in Southern Oregon.

RVUUF celebrates its 64th birthday this Sunday, April 8, and offers a toast to another “at least 64 more years” of serving as a beacon of liberal faith in Southern Oregon.
The Interfaith Social Justice Coalition, of which RVUUF is a member, will meet from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, at the Ashland First Congregational United Church of Christ, located at 717 Siskiyou Blvd. in Ashland.
RVUUF’s Social Justice in Action team is planning to attend the “Women’s March Southern Oregon,” taking place on Saturday, Jan. 20, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Hawthorne Park, 501 E. Main St. in Medford.

During the fifth Sunday of a month, the offering that is collected, goes to the Ministerial Discretionary Fund. During the most recent fifth Sunday, Oct. 29, givers’ generous contributions provided $547.

The 2017 Rogue Valley Pride Parade takes place Saturday, Oct. 14, 11 a.m. to noon. RVUUF plans to pull a float this year, and is offering options to walk or ride with RVUUF during the Pride Parade. Set-up starts at 10 a.m.
