Wolf Hoppe, an adjunct professor of law, will lecture on “President Trump and the Constitution,” 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, in RVUUF’s Great Hall. Hoppe’s presentation is co-sponsored by RVUUF’s Social Justice and Action Committee, with the Mountain Meadows Democrats Plus Club.

This vital committee engages the wider community through social action and promotion of social justice, and has focused on homeless issues this year. Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will hold its Ashland City Band concert potluck, 5:45 p.m. Thursday, July 20, at the Lithia Park Bandshell (up the street, near the cement wheelchair-access area). All are invited to this annual RVUUF event.

RVUUF has been operating an “Overnight Parking Program.” The purpose is to give people who have no alternative but to live and sleep in their cars a place to park overnight with a minimum of services.
